(September 15th 2025)
I've heard you loud and clear. Everybody wants a better world map. The world is too blocky! I get it.
This will be the last "Fancy Update". The next update is the big one. Don't expect it for a couple of months but I will make sure the wait is worth it. But that's next update. Here is what I've been working on these past 2 months (Other than playing silksong).
The focus of this update was to make skills look and feel more unique from one another by adding sounds and animations. I also reworked breeding to be less of a chore.
CHANGES
Tulpa : Added 8 new evolutions. (Every tulpa evolves now).
Tulpa : Most tulpas learn new and improved skills. (Cubble no longer learns a skill that regenerate mana, but no skill that uses mana)
Tulpa : Bunibble's new evolution comes in 3 unique forms. (The forms are purely aesthetic)
Tulpa : Bunibble was changed to come in 3 colors by default.
Tulpa : Some descriptions in the bestiary were improved.
Battle : Skills now have different sound effects and a few animations. (punching, throwing, dancing, etc.)
Battle : Status effects now have unique visual effects and sounds.
Battle : Added the status effects "snare" and "shackle" which prevent the target from moving.
Battle : Added the status effect "Elemental shield" which will add temporary health of a certain element, regardless of the tulpa's actual element.
Battle : Slightly decreased stutter during battle.
Battle : Added a summon/retrieve animation that also plays when you set your follower.
Battle : Added the "wake up" and "element chart" buttons from battle to the formation screen. (You can now give up before the battle even starts)
Battle : A tulpa's tooltip will now appear when you summon. (So you don't accidentally summon a tulpa with 1 HP)
Breeding : Eggs are now items and will hatch based on time, not battles fought.
Breeding : Added an animation when eggs hatch.
UI : Added an inventory screen. (The only available items are eggs)
UI : Added a counter to keep track of elements unlocked in the element chart
UI : Added a counter to keep track of tulpas caught in the bestiary.
UI : Added the last elemental background. (Light)
Overworld : The exclamation mark above wild tulpas who spot you is made of cardboard and makes a sound.
Overworld : Tulpas in later levels will now spawn as their evolved form, making later levels more difficult.
Overworld : Wild tulpas are now guaranteed to spawn with skills that do damage and will priorities skills that don't cost mana to prevent battles where nothing happens.
Overworld : Moved the dresser to the apartment to be easier to access. (It is no longer a reward for finding keys)
Overworld : Moved the breeding CD to be easier to access.
BUG FIXES
Achievement : The achievement for hatching 100 eggs should trigger correctly now.
Achievement : Changed the achievement for "having a powerlevel of over 9000" to the trainer being level 100 instead.
Lighting : Fixed a bug where the lighting would be wrongly affected by the room you are in during certain animations such as evolution.
