The very first Reto Insider Summit is about to happen – a “by invitation only” event to be held Saturday the 11th of November where we at Reto-Moto have invited nine Heroes & Generals players to visit us in Copenhagen.
When we put out the news on the Reto Insider Summit about a month ago, we received a large number of applications from all sorts of players wanting to take part – and that is really cool.
This is how we found who to invite for the Reto Insider Summit
We really would have liked to invite all of you. However, as that was not possible we had to apply a number of criteria to help us figure out which veterans and truly dedicated players to invite.
The criteria we used as guidelines were:
- Application submitted before the October 5th deadline
- Able to attend the summit on November 11th
- Age 18+ at the time of application (for legal reasons)
- Valid passport
- English language skills on a sufficient level
- Minimum of 2,000 hours of play time in Heroes & Generals
- Geographical equality (at least two players from each of the main territories: Europe, The Americas, and Russia)
- Faction equality (six faction aligned players and three non-faction aligned)
- Clan involvement (six clan-members and three non-clan members)

In the end we managed to solve the puzzle and extended invitations to nine players – and happily they all accepted. We look forward to seeing them in Copenhagen.

And to all of you who did not get an invitation to the Reto Insider Summit – Fall 2017 please remember that the application you submitted is still valid when the next summit is announced, and will be treated on equal terms with everyone else’s.
The criteria for the next summit will most likely change, so even if you haven’t played thousands of hours, you could still be considered for the next summit.
This is what is going to happen at the Reto Insider Summit
The nine invited players will arrive Saturday morning at the Reto-Moto office after having spend a night in a Copenhagen hotel.
Here they will start of the day getting a briefing from our CEO Reto.JM on what is going on at Reto-Moto as well as a chance to ask a few questions.
Game Director Reto.RedBjarne will also provide a brief on the current plans for Heroes & Generals, before inviting the players on a tour of the studio.
Afterwards we will split the invited players into three groups to ensure that each of them have more than a fair chance to pitch in as they rotate between the three planned afternoon activities:
Play session
You can’t visit the Heroes & Generals headquarters without playing the game. And to us it is very valuable to see how veteran players engage with the game

Afternoon tea with the game director
Players will have a relaxed sit down with Reto.RedBjarne to engage in a mutual exchange about Heroes & Generals – ranging from the joys of playing the game to the input and feedback on how to improve it.

The players get to hang out with a panel of game developers capable of answering even the most detailed Heroes & Generals related questions.
