We are thrilled to announce an innovation in the gaming landscape - Spatial Terminal - born out of a collective love for games and technology by a group of college graduates. Taking cues from beloved games such as Legend of Zelda, GTA, Cyberpunk, and Cities Skyline, and drawing inspiration from the Steam Workshop community, we aimed to develop a gaming platform that eradicates the challenges traditionally associated with game development.
Spatial Terminal is a harmonious blend of a supportive, active community and state-of-the-art AI technology. Together, we're pioneering a future where every player is a creator, and every idea can take flight.
Introducing the Materialized SDF Rendering Engine (MatEngine)
Step into a world where every voxel matters with our Materialized SDF Rendering Engine (MatEngine). Developed by our founder, an adept generative AI researcher, MatEngine overcomes traditional game engine limitations, enabling seamless integration with advanced AI technologies.
By deploying a real-time editing and rendering algorithm on compressed voxel data, MatEngine delivers high levels of compression and optimization. This enables the rendering of intricate, extensive, high-fidelity worlds that run effortlessly across devices, demanding only a fraction of memory.
How We're Leveraging AI in Game Creation
Spatial Terminal features the ST Generative AI Engine, which learns from your creations and enhances the game development process. Future updates promise personalized level generation, 3D super-resolution, and guess 3D models. Our AI Terminal is also powered by ChatGPT, offering the freedom to mold and manipulate your world using simple natural language descriptions. Combined with our Material Generator that utilizes Stable Diffusion, your artistic vision can come to life in remarkable ways.
Our Progress and the Path Forward
Since our alpha pre-launch in November 2022, we've received an overwhelming response with nearly 9,000 sign-ups and over 4,000 downloads on Steam. Minecraft builders, in particular, are delighted by the high-fidelity graphics achievable without any mods.
Our journey, however, is just beginning. We're working on expanding our AI engine, adding more game mechanics, and creating an official open world brimming with rich narratives and varied gameplay.
