Poveglia Version 4 Is Now Available

Today we're excited to officially release Version 4 of Poveglia: The Island of No Return, now available in Steam Early Access.

This version marks an important milestone for our team. While it doesn't yet represent our final vision for the game, it introduces the technical and gameplay foundations that will support the complete experience we're building.

Our goal was never to release just another demo. We wanted players to experience the project's evolution and become part of its journey from the very beginning.

🏗️ Building the Foundation

Version 4 introduces the core systems that will define the future of Poveglia.

At this stage, our priority was creating a solid foundation for combat, exploration, survival, and horror while ensuring stability and refining our core gameplay systems.

Many of the current animations are temporary placeholders. Our professional Motion Capture pipeline is already in production and will become a major part of the next milestone.

Everything we've built in Version 4 has helped us refine our development workflow and prepare for the project's biggest leap forward.

Version 5 Will Take Poveglia to the Next Level

While players explore Version 4, our team is already hard at work on the most ambitious update since development began.

Version 5 will introduce major improvements, including:

• A brand-new cinematic opening.

• A full prologue that begins the story.

• Expanded narrative inspired by the real history of Poveglia Island.

• Professional Motion Capture animations.

• A completely redesigned combat system.

• Significantly improved Artificial Intelligence.

• New exploration, survival, and horror gameplay mechanics.

• Major visual, audio, and immersion improvements throughout the game.

Our goal is for Version 5 to deliver the experience we've envisioned since the beginning of development.

We're also excited to officially announce our international event:
