Thanks to the report from a diligent community user, we've been made aware that the demo could not be downloaded from the store page even though you could find it if you'd search for it.
Turns out there was a small "detail" that had been forgotten on my end when I made the demo - a small checkbox in the special settings on the main store page. Not a mistake I'd make again.
Apologies to everyone who was puzzled about not finding this free demo and many, many thanks again to the person who told me, and double-checked it too.
