Hello flatmates,
we promised you big news for this year and so, between terror and excitement, we're kicking off the dance with a major announcement: this year we'll be present at GAMESCOM 2025 with a Pre-Alpha Demo of GLASSHOUSE!
No tricks, no deception -- it will be completely open and you can come try it live in Cologne, from August 20th to 24th.
GLASSHOUSE - THE PRE-ALPHA DEMO
After roughly two years of silence since the Concept Demo, we're finally ready to show you the first 30 minutes of ACT I of GLASSHOUSE. Much has changed since your last visit to Dormitory 73B and we can't wait to show you the progress we've made thanks to your feedback as well.
Everything will be new and never seen before, nothing from what you tried on ITCH will be included in the Pre-Alpha Demo. If the 2023 Concept Demo was a standalone echo of our potential, the August one will be GLASSHOUSE's definitive form. An important milestone that marks a turning point and a glimpse into the near future.
In GLASSHOUSE - PRE-ALPHA DEMO you'll be able to test the following content:
ACT I - Chapter 1 fully playable (30+ minutes)
Combat System implemented
Political Compass redesigned
8 NPCs to meet, love and hate
Dormitory 73B freely explorable
Journal redesigned
Glossary implemented
New QTEs and PUZZLES in the Interaction Tab
UI/UX completely redesigned from scratch
Graphics improved and significantly optimized

WHERE TO FIND US AT GAMESCOM
You'll find us at the INDIE AREA HALL, specifically in the INDIE ARENA BOOTH, among roughly 193 playable games. GLASSHOUSE was selected from thousands of applications and for us it's truly a great honor to have our own booth, in what's recognized as the largest Indie Showcase ever. You'll find us there, beer in hand.
No seriously, come give us a hug, let's organize a dinner and maybe get lost together in the vast cosmos of informality. GLASSHOUSE is ours as much as it's yours.
STEAM RELEASE
GLASSHOUSE - PRE-ALPHA DEMO, shortly after Gamescom, will be released as a timed exclusive on our Community Discord, in the form of a Playtest, and subsequently on Steam.
We're almost there, we just want to make sure everything is perfect for the general public.

That's all for today and in the coming weeks, as we get closer to Gamescom, you can expect on these pages a series of detailed updates on the Demo's content. It will be a great year for us and with this news-- it's just the beginning.
See you soon flatmates.
