In truth, this bundle isn't completely random. I've worked on Kumitantei: Old-School Slaughter for a few years as a sound designer and composer. It helped keep the lights on during the latter half of RUBATO's development. To me, this was a long time coming!
Both games also crossover! You can find a RUBATO plushie in the prize corner of the arcade in Kumitantei: Old-School Slaughter. Nyanus makes a very apathetic cameo on RUBATO's field map.
Congratulations Mango Factory & Akupara Games on the launch!
RUBATO V1.2
As for progress on the v1.2 update to RUBATO, it's going smoothly! All of the main features for this update are implemented now. The most rigorous part of this update is now implementing the reworked Area 2 cutscenes. The changes for this and the content additions are much bigger in scope than I originally planned, so I hope this really pays off and helps to improve the game for everyone.
Expect more news on this to go live in the middle of May!
