Hello once again, Survivors
Kept you waiting?
Let's talk about the most anticipated creature, the Sarcosuchus. Did the Sarco live in the Cenozoic Era? No, he did not, we are aware of this, his main purpose is to feel exotic and fill the Gator gameplay for our Gator lovers.
But he's not the only one, the Rhino is another new large herbivore for players to use, This helps contrast the strength of the Sarco with the Rhino

Map Changes
As many of you know, we redid the environment to not only look more realistic but feel more exotic and primordial, we did keep a backup of the original Hateg Isle incase certain players cant run the new map, to use the old version of the map set the map to "Hateg Isle LQ" and it will use the old version of it, we also brought back Elira as a usable map, although its not officially supported so things could be missing or broke, we may do some TLC work to it sometime in the future

Grab System
Something that was in need of work was the Grab system, the old one was not a very reliable system so we rebuilt it from the ground up to be very reliable and robust, something we showcased was the items floating in water, this no longer the case since it was causing some issues (mainly the Sarco) So expect no more issues from the grabbing system.
This new grab system will allows Sarcos to grab players and kill them, this grab system uses weight, so for instance, Sarcos cannot pickup Rhinos, the only time they can is when they're in the young phase or young adults, otherwise they are not able to be picked up once fully grown, the same applies to the Sarco itself, so if it's a young adult, it cannot pickup a young adult Rhino. this same system applies to all animals for certain weight groups (Such as, fox cannot pick up a elk calf)

Crafting Beds
A new system we added was how beds are created, no longer will you be able to just press B and place a bed, you will need to gather bedding materials to essentially craft one. You can locate bedding materials with the smell key, they will be labeled with a Stick pile icon.

Boar Changes
We made a much needed change to the Boar, he is now a Omnivore, he can fish, eat meat and plants now

Animal removal & Horse update
We mentioned the idea of removing Black Bear and Cougar, we took in the feedback to this change and instead we are leaving the Cougar in but removing the Black Bear and Red Deer. These creatures serve no fundamental purpose to being playable as they offer almost nothing for growing one, If we get some new mechanics in such as berry gathering, then the black bear may return for that update.
We brought back the Horse as a playable creature, fixed his ragdoll system, he should be good to go, but keep in mind if issues rearise with the horse again, it may have to be removed, so keep that in mind before you decide to grow one. The model just has issues that are difficult to fix.

Resizing
We also adjusted the animal sizes to be more realistic, ever since I was roasted in the comment section about the Leopard and Cougar I decided to redo their sizes more accurately and readjusted some stats.
We also adjusted the speeds of certain creatures, such as the Big Horned Sheep. Since they were way to slow to be considered as a survivable creature.

Weather & Temperature
We spoke about the Temperature system being removed, we heard plenty of feedback on that idea and we decided to leave it in the game.

Bugs
We also patched up some issues and bugs like the sliding bug and the eating while walking bug and some other issues with the camera and skins, I sometimes leave certain bugs out because they haven't had enough testing to conclude it's fixed since it's not a consistent enough issue and difficult to replicate in the editor reliably.

Chat
We also changed chat, you can now switch between chat channels using /local /global /group

That is it for this update, we hope you enjoy! Cheers!
