Hey Stackers!
Our design team is putting the final touches on the blocking and balancing of the levels for the game. What are the ingredients for a good level blocking in Hack ‘n’ Stack?
⛰️Terraform the map to give it a unique shape
Determine where the enemies will start the invasion
⚔️ Anticipate the optimal defense zones
📦 10 Set up the locations to gather your resources
🚩 Have clear objectives to complete scattered around the map
Also, the players’ spawner is another important area to establish. No one wants to spawn on the front lines. 😱
What’s Next?
👗 Dress up the levels with our dazzling art props for the different biomes
🎮 External playtests should begin shortly after that.
Thanks for stacking with us — see you in the next devlog!
