Hey everyone,
First off, a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who bought and played Noobs Are Coming.
Noobs Are Coming has gone viral since 1.0 launch yesterday, and it’s all thanks to your support!!
We just hit 40,000 copies sold, as a tiny solo dev, I never would’ve imagined something like this in my wildest dreams.
✨EDIT: HERE IS A FIRST MINOR POST-1.0 UPDATE: 1.0.3 🚀
This one is for you AdmiralBahroo 👀: tweaked the UI Shop so 6 Attacks fits in a single row in the Weapon Inventory
This one if for you LIRIK 👀: your run with wormator full amount Laser Eyes build was legendary but also a bit flashbanging, so the “Transparent Attack” option now better handle tons of lasers
Difficulty 5 is now faster to unlock
Improved the gamepad/keyboard navigation
Bugfix: Self-Death Knight character could kill himself by killing an enemy, despite it’s lose HP effect saying the opposite (might let him kill himself in a future update as I think it was actually a funny challenge that he could die like that, not sure yet)
Bugfix: the new challenge requiring to beat Endless Wave 30 with 5 characters didn’t triggers when it happened, it works only after reloading the game
I'm a bit overwhelmed by the massive success of the game but i'm reading everything, thank you so much for the massively positive reception. It looks like some users are facing very niche/device-specific issues that weren't discovered/fixed during the 130+ updates since first public release and Early Access but I'll do my best to adress them in the following weeks, thanks for reporting them on the Discord, this is the canal we've been using for all kind of feedback.
✨ NOOBS ARE COMING IS N°1 WORLD IN NEW AND TRENDING
(seeing my tiny solodev game before Call of Duty Black Ops 7 and Solo Leveling in this list is pretty wild)
✨1.2.0 UPDATE IS ALREADY COMING NEXT WEEK (5th December)
2 NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS WILL BE INTRODUCED
Meaning the game will feature 45 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS OVERALL
✨THANK YOU FOR NOMINATING NOOBS ARE COMING TO THE STEAM AWARDS
We’re a bit late to the party since 1.0 only released yesterday and the Steam Awards voting period ends in just 3 days, but it looks like many of you have already nominated Noobs Are Coming for:
Best Game on Steam Deck Award 🎖️
Great With Friends Award 🎖️
Best Soundtrack Award 🎵
and some of you even picked it for the Game of the Year Award 😳(did you lose your mind?)
✨ HUGE THANKS TO BLOBFISH AND BROTATO 🥔
I want to give a special thanks to Thomas and Marco from Blobfish Games (creators of Brotato). As you know, Brotato was the main inspiration for Noobs Are Coming (it’s one of the best games ever made) and they were kind enough to feature Noobs Are Coming on Brotato’s Steam page and we're part of a cool bundle with Brotato. Those guys are truly the GOATs
✨ You can still grab Noobs Are Coming for just 4 bucks thanks to the -40% BIG LAUNCH DISCOUNT!
Some of you even spotted a funny trick: if you already own one of the games in the Complete the Set bundles, you actually get a DOUBLE REDUCTION: -40% + an extra -10% on top.
Honestly... just go for it lol
