Hello everyone!
We've just pushed another update live! Building on the 1.3 demo, this one is all about smoother multiplayer, a more stable world as you
explore farther out, voice chat, solo play, and better performance on lower-end PCs. As always, thank you for the amazing feedback that
keeps shaping the game!
Here's everything we improved:
Multiplayer & Stability 📈
- Voice Chat Overhaul: Rebuilt in-game voice chat from the ground up — and you can now choose your microphone and speaker devices right
from the Audio settings.
- Lobby & Connection Fixes: Improved hosting and joining, with clearer error messages when a connection issue happens.
- Far-From-Home Stability: Fixed a wide range of issues that appeared when traveling far from your starting area — the world, loot,
vehicles, and dug-up items no longer jitter, flicker, or drift out of place.
- Late-Joiner Fixes: Players who join a game already in progress now correctly see placed loot, dug-up treasure, and seated players — all in their proper spots.
- Placement Sync: Objects you place — especially on vehicles — now land in the exact same position for every player.
Vehicles & Driving 🚗
- Smoother Multiplayer Driving: Other players now see your wheels spin, steer, and react correctly, instead of frozen or mismatched wheels.
- Tire Effects for Everyone: Skid marks, dust and dirt particles, and tire roll & stop sounds are now visible and audible to others in your
session.
- Long-Distance Driving Fixes: Vehicles no longer freeze or lose momentum when fresh terrain loads while you drive far out, and the driving camera no longer snaps or lurches.
- RV Improvements: Handling and detail upgrades for the RVs (including the C-Class), plus ignition tweaks.
Gameplay & Menus 🔧
- Play Solo: Added a Single-Player option so you can jump into the world on your own.
- In-Game Info Panel: Check your online session details right from the pause menu.
- UI Polish: Smoother menu animations, hover effects, and transitions, plus refined first-person movement feel.
Restoration Tools 🧰
- Smoother Tool Use: The grinder, polisher, cleaner, and paint sprays are more responsive, with a slightly wider working area.
- No More Stuck Tools: Tools no longer get locked onto a surface when you switch into placement mode.
World & Weather 🌦️
- Dynamic Weather: Weather now shifts naturally over time and stays in sync for everyone in the session.
- Terrain & Road Tuning: Visual polish for the desert landscape and roads.
Performance ⚡
- Lower-End PC Optimizations: Added smart texture and resolution scaling on the Low and Medium quality settings for a smoother framerate on
lower-spec machines (High quality is left untouched).
More improvements are on the way! 🛠️
