About Worldwide Cancer Research
Worldwide Cancer Research focuses on funding discovery research - the critical first stage of the research journey - into any type of cancer, anywhere in the world. Because the brightest new ideas could come from anywhere, and there are over 200 types of cancer that all need different cures.
Since 1979, Worldwide Cancer Research has invested over £220 million in more than 2,000 research projects in 35 countries worldwide, leading to remarkable breakthroughs. But with cancer rates increasing, and global discovery research funding decreasing, there is an urgent need to push forward faster and fund more new projects.
This simply won't be possible without the continued support of the charity’s incredible community of Curestarters - people who turn their compassion into action by supporting Worldwide Cancer Research's work - for themselves, for their loved ones, and for the millions of people around the world affected by cancer.
Becoming a Curestarter is a positive way to be part of something bigger and to contribute to vital research that will save lives.

What Research Will Your Donations Support?
All net proceeds from your donations will go to Worldwide Cancer Research.
Your support will power bold ideas for new cures from world-leading scientists. Cures for the cancers that few have heard of, and for the ones that we know too well. Every single contribution is crucial, because every breakthrough starts with a single action.
Any new test or treatment for cancer starts with discovery research, and more of that research will start with you.
A Community United for a Cause
This collaboration is just the beginning. We hope this charity event becomes a recurring tradition, one that unites players and contributes to making an impact outside of the game. Together, we can turn compassion into action and make a real difference.
