Crescent County is going to be published by Kinetic Publishing! ✨✨🎉🎉🎊🎊🥳🥳
This was announced last week as part of the Kinetic Publishing showcase! We are INCREDIBLY EXCITED to announce this partnership. Working with Kinetic Publishing will allow us to scale up our development efforts and deliver the best possible version of Crescent County. We're SO JAZZED!

❗The first thing we want to say with this news: To our Kickstarter backers - we would not be here without you. The funds raised through our Kickstarter campaign have allowed a small team of us to continue working on this game, developing vital assets and systems. We are eternally thankful to everyone who showed up to support us in 2025 when we needed it most.
❓Just in case you’re wondering - all Kickstarter rewards will still be fulfilled. No worries about that whatsoever. However, our Kickstarter campaign said we would aim to finish the game around October 2026 - this date has to change. We are currently looking at ☀️Summer 2027☀️ as a new release date. We recognise this is a big jump and the reality is, whilst we have been making great progress on the game in this last year, we have been a small team and we have had to make some big changes to our world and systems. Those of you who have been keeping up with our Kickstarter updates will have a good sense of our achievements and progress over the past year but we are simply nowhere near ready to put the game in players hands. Please rest assured that we are all working our hardest to create a game and an experience that will live up to your expectations.
🎮 Slightly less relevantly for Steam, but originally we had aimed to release on PC and Xbox only. With the help of Kinetic Publishing, Crescent County will now be sweeping onto PC, Xbox, Playstation 5 AND Nintendo Switch 2! You hear that?? Crescent County will be on MULTIPLE CONSOLES! Say it out loud! What a wonderful sentence! Watch out Mario and Parappa The Rappa, we’re coming for you!
💥If you have been following our Kickstarter updates you may have noticed that that we’ve had a big expansion to our team as well! There are now 9 people working on Crescent County! That’s the most people we’ve ever had working on the project at one time and we absolutely couldn’t have done it without the support from Kinetic Publishing. Not only have we expanded the team but we now have the opportunity to give the game proper QA and even some localisation! Less Bugs! More languages! Less Bugs Speaking More Languages? You know what we mean.
🧹So. That’s the gist of it really! We’re gonna be getting on with development, same as it ever was and we’ll keep posting monthly updates of our exciting developments as time goes on on our Kickstarter page. Thanks for joining us on this incredible journey.
