Hi everyone!
In this patch I added an equipment system so I can easily add more items for upcoming objectives and other possible activities. New map, new objective and new paranormal entitiy are coming next!
0.1.1 Patch Notes:
Equipment
- Collected Items now appear in a little 'Inventory' with 4 slots on the bottom right of your screen.
You can select the items with the buttons 1 to 4 to hold the item in your hand and use it as you usually would with the left mouse button
- You can drop selected items with 'G'
- Items and Keys now drop when a player leaves
- Added a Flashlight item and removed the magical spot light the players had before
Medkits
- Added animations for Medkits, as you now need to hold them in your hand to use them.
- You now need a medkit to revive teammates (before this update it just made the revive faster)
- Reduced the revive time significantly
Fixes, Tweaks, Other Stuff
- Some level art changes to make room for the new equipment in the van area
- various minor tweaks on '22 Willow Lane'
- fixed a bug resulting in players getting stuck reading a paper (gripping literature)
- Made some changes to fix a bug that caused the match to not end properly when all players died
- Made some changes to the AI to possibly fix her getting stuck (while testing it happened way less now, but I still encountered it on some occasions)
- Made more changes to closets in hopes of fixing the remaining bugs
Thats it for this patch!
If you encounter any bugs, feel free to report them in the steam discussions or join me and the others over at discord.
You can see the current game version in the main menu's bottom right corner.
If Steam doesn't update the game automatically, just restart Steam and the game should start updating.
If you have trouble joining a server, the host probably hasn't updated the game yet.
Thanks for playing and have fun!
