Briefly:
The project goes to a new official page and a new chapter of development begins.
The development of the game continues on a new project page.
All future updates will be released there. Go to the new project page to continue monitoring the development of the game. The new page will be the only place for further development of the project.
🎁 Bonus for players:
In honor of the launch of the new page, I have prepared a special bonus for the players. The PIN code of the contraband will be published on the page of the new version of the game.
By activating it in the game, you will receive:
✦ VIP status with bonuses
✦ A mercenary 's companion
✦ High - quality transport
✦ Good equipment, armor, weapons, drone, turret and consumables.
This bonus is available to all players.
Players who have already bought the game
I understand that many of you have already supported the project with a purchase.
I don't want you to feel the need to buy the game again.
Therefore, for such players, I am ready to provide activation keys for the new version.
You can write to me in private messages in the community or in the social networks of the project.
However, it is important to understand one point.
If you activate the game using a key, the feedback about the game will not be taken into account by Steam algorithms.
Reviews written after the activation of the key do not affect the rating of the game.
Therefore, if you really want to help the development of the project, the best support is to buy the game at a discount and write an honest review.
Reviews play a huge role in the development of the project and help the game become more visible to new players.
Thank you for support
For me, the most important thing is the community of players that has formed around the project.
It is thanks to your support, feedback, and ideas that the game continues to evolve.
Thanks to everyone who supports the project.
Development continues.

If you purchase a new, re-released version of LIFE EFFECT Survival, you can continue your game progress: all items, all achievements, all upgrades will remain with you, as well as all contraband items and received codes.
Full information:
Greetings, dear friends.
Today, I’m reaching out to you not just as a developer, but as a person who has been living with this project for four years.
Life Effect is hundreds of sleepless nights, constant work, and an enormous amount of communication with you.
In May 2023, I started actively developing the demo version. Back then, it was an experiment. A small idea. I didn’t know if it would grow into something serious.
But then you started coming.
In February 2025, the most intense phase began. For almost a whole year, I worked on the game every single day.
Updates were released every week, and during some periods, even every day.
I read all the feedback.
I replied to comments on Discord, VK, and Steam.
I added features that you requested.
I ran events.
I personally helped players solve their problems.
The game grew together with the community.
85% positive reviews are the result not only of my work but also of your involvement.
But now, I have to honestly talk about the other side.
The current version of the game is published through a publishing account that does not belong to me personally. Despite the fact that I handled the development, updates, and support, I do not have full control over the financial and strategic part of the project. Currently, I still have access to publish builds and news, but it’s possible that even these options could be closed off to me.
This creates risks for the future.
I cannot build a long-term roadmap, implement co-op, scale the game, or invest in server infrastructure if I don’t control the project’s foundation.
And many of you are constantly asking for a cooperative mode.
I see those messages.
I want to make a multiplayer mode.
I want you to be able to survive together.
I want to develop the game towards co-op.
I want to make the game big, with all the locations you see on the world map in the game.
But for that, I need a stable and fully manageable platform. One that is controlled personally by me, without third parties.
That’s why I made a difficult decision.
**I have created my own publishing account, fully controlled by me.**
Without third parties.
Without limitations.
Without the risks of sudden development stops.
The next chapter is launching as:
LIFE EFFECT Survive
This isn’t just a copy.
This is an expanded version with a focus on scaling and a cooperative future.
Now, an important point about money and support.
I don’t want those who have already purchased Life Effect to have to pay twice.
**Therefore, I am ready to give out Steam keys to owners of the original version.** You can write to me in a private message, and I will provide you with access.
Also, in the new version, there will be a special pin code in the "Contraband" menu, published on the store page news.
It will grant:
- A VIP account
- A Companion
- Advanced transport
- Good starting gear
But there’s an important nuance that I must honestly mention.
If you activate the game via a key and leave a review, that review is not counted by Steam’s algorithms, unlike a review from a direct purchase.
For new projects, reviews are a critically important factor, especially at the game's launch.
If you truly want to help the project get on its feet as an independent release — the best support would be to buy the game directly on the new store page.
I am planning to set a 40% discount to make the transition as comfortable as possible. This is the maximum discount allowed by Steam when launching a game.
Building a sustainable future for the project is more important to me than making a quick profit.
Steam’s algorithms promote a game based on:
- the number of purchases
- the percentage of positive reviews
- the speed of accumulating reviews
- community activity
If a project launches without algorithmic support, almost no one will see it.
The community is more important to me than money right now.
Everything I’ve built over the year is essentially being lost — over 400 reviews, an entire archive of discussions on the page, and a huge number of wishlists — more than 16,000 people who signed up for the game, or rather, added it to their wishlist.
So I want to be honest.
If you have already supported the game — I am grateful to you from the bottom of my heart.
If you decide to support the new version with a purchase — it will be a huge contribution to the project's development.
Right now, I’m taking this step for the sake of stability, transparency, and long-term growth.
This is not the end of Life Effect.
This is the beginning of a stronger version.
And now we are building it on a foundation that is fully controlled by the developer.
Thank you for your trust.
