Hello Captains,
Following the March multiplayer playtest and the release of the public single-player demo in April, development has continued based on the valuable feedback received from the community.
Over the past few months, I've been working on improving and expanding many aspects of Conqueror of the Seas, and I'm happy to announce that another multiplayer playtest is planned for the coming weeks.
While the demo focused on introducing the single-player experience, this upcoming playtest will once again put multiplayer at the center, allowing players to jump back into naval battles against each other while helping shape the next stage of development.
This won't simply be another chance to play the same build. Besides the improvements, there will be also new systems to be tested for the first time:
Improved gameplay systems
Refined naval combat
Better onboarding for new captains
User interface improvements
Performance and stability enhancements
Additional content and polish
More details—including new features, gameplay improvements, and the playtest date—will be shared in the upcoming announcements.
Finally, thank you to everyone who played the demo, submitted bug reports, and shared suggestions. Your feedback has directly influenced many of the changes coming to the next playtest, and I can't wait to hear what you think.
Fair winds,
