Major Update v0.4621
Thank you for all reports and feedback! It helps us improve the game daily.
Today we’re dropping Patch v0.4621, and we’re also announcing a FUN MODE contest with prizes!
For 2026, we wish you accurate shots, fun gameplay, and even more mutants blown to pieces. See you in the fire-demon-mutants-field!
Changes in v0.4621
IMPORTANT / HIGHLIGHTS
ULTRA WIDE (21:9) support (and similar screens): You can play now! Players with 21:9 (and similar) displays can finally play the game properly. The game is adapted in ~95% of places and the entire gameplay works fully on ultra-wide screens.
Controllers no longer connect / take over automatically. Controller-related issues have been fixed. The keyboard will no longer “switch” into controller mode automatically and cause a confusing “freeze” when the player didn’t even know another device was connected.
BOSS BAUER REWORK (Map 4). Boss Bauer has been improved and should no longer kill you for unclear reasons. He now destroys traps while moving, and we added visual UX cues to make it clearer where to go and when he can be attacked.
Beaver Mode: Lots of fixes! We fixed many issues that made Beaver Mode frustrating or impossible to enjoy: weapon UI improved, grenades fixed, freeze superpower fixed, sounds improved, “next page” options display fixed plus many other smaller Beaver Mode fixes.
Other community-reported fixes! A number of additional bugs reported by the community were also fixed. Thank you for sending reports!
CONTEST: Beaver Mode - win the MEAT 2 Soundtrack
We’re starting a contest inside the game!
How to enter:
Play Beaver Mode (FUN MODE)
Reach the highest wave you can (or just create the most impressive run)
Record a video or take screenshots from your run (best moments, funniest moments, coolest scenes - it does NOT have to be the highest wave if your content is great)
Send it to: "[email protected]" as a photo/video or with a Youtube/Tiktok/Insta Public Link
Prizes:
MEAT 2 Soundtrack for free (we have multiple rewards to give away)
Plus extra surprises connected to the in-game store in MEAT Veterans (those rewards will have a second life later - it’s worth preparing)
Important note:
We already have one winner from Friday the 13th.
All prizes will be published and sent in March.
