Hey Nervs!
First off, we are absolutely thrilled to report that Mod Support development is in full swing! The team is working incredibly hard, and we cannot wait to see the amazing new maps, modes, and mayhem you all will create! If you’d like to help us test the tools, please sign up here. We'll be sharing more concrete details with everyone very soon... get ready!
But while that's cooking in the background, let's dive into what's landing in today's patch!
This update is primarily focused on cleanup and stabilization following our engine upgrade to Unity 6 last month. That update brought huge changes across the board, including upgrading the renderer to URP and implementing Meta XR Audio for audio raytracing.
As you know, we encountered some unexpected issues with the new audio raytracing shortly after the 0.6 update went live, forcing us to temporarily disable it. We're thrilled to announce that we've ironed out those kinks, and audio raytracing is back online with this patch!
Taking advantage of the new URP renderer, we've also implemented brand new 3D muzzle flashes for all firearms. They look sick and add another layer of visual punch to combat!
Beyond these highlights, this patch includes a significant number of crucial bug fixes and further stabilization improvements to make your Nervbox experience smoother and more reliable than ever.
We’re going to be squashing bugs very aggressively for the next little while, so please let us know if you’re running into any issues!
Thank you all for your continued support and feedback!
