The aim of this update was simple: make charging around the supermarket faster, smoother, more chaotic and much more fun.
Highlights:
• Completely reworked duck/trolley movement
• Faster acceleration and higher top speed
• Smoother, more responsive turning
• Improved reverse controls
• Added a little arcade-style skidding without making the trolley uncontrollable
• Crashing into baskets and physics objects no longer kills your momentum
WING CHAOS!
• Wing attacks are much more responsive
• Products are knocked toward the trolley rather than simply falling behind it
• Products inside the trolley continue to bounce and move around without falling out too much like previously
• Hard skids and collisions can occasionally throw products back out of the trolley
BETTER TROLLEY PHYSICS
A heavily loaded trolley should still be fun to drive.
• Carrying lots of shopping now has almost no effect on trolley speed
• Products inside the trolley no longer physically fight against the trolley itself
• Crowded trolley physics have been optimised to reduce slowdown
NEW GAMEPLAY FEEDBACK
• A large cartoony direction arrow now helps guide you to the customer when needed
• New visual clues such as dollar sings when customers give you money.
• Customers waiting outside are now properly spaced instead of overlapping and flickering
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
• Clearer highlighted selection on the game mode screen
• Fixed the loading screen for different resolutions
• Significant physics optimisation for supermarket products
• Various collision, controller and gameplay fixes across Arcade, Speed Run and Destruction modes
The supermarket should now feel much more like the ridiculous arcade playground it was always supposed to be.
Come On! Grab a trolley, flap those wings and cause some supermarket mayhem!
