Greetings all!
First things first: A massive THANK YOU to all you out there that have played our INDUSTRIA 2 demo since last Friday and shared a massive amount of constructive feedback with us – that's really appreciated and helpful for us.
The result is demo update 0.2.18, which is available now. The changes, improvements and adjustments include resolutions for INDUSTRIA 2 (yeah, including ultrawide ːsteamhappyː), key bindings, controller settings and much more.
This is the complete changelog:
Added additional supported resolutions
FoV is now using Hor+ scaling providing full support to ultrawide resolutions
FoV is now capped at 130 (up from 120 and previously 115). Higher FOVs may cause some clipping of first person models, this is still being worked on.
Fixed some game-breaking issues with the keybinds menu and removed some obsolete input options
Added Lean Left & Right as bindable key inputs
Added the 'Restore Default' keybind functionality which will reset any issues with custom keybindings
Added additional support for Controller keybinds
Changed some default mappings for controllers
Keybinding UX is now improved (especially in regards to controller support) and correctly shows selected columns/input indices
Changed some sensitivity calculations to allow better control whilst aiming on thumbsticks
Camera controls are no longer framerate dependant making thumbstick controls much more consistent
Added a 'Return' keybind for controllers in all menu screens
Fixed some issues in regards to saved items which are dynamically spawned in the world at runtime
Implemented new human react animation set to Marlene. This is a precursor to further upcoming feedback animations to other characters also
Fixed Marlene being able to pass through the rollup door at the start of the game
Fixed some missing textures on various meshes
Fixed an issue with DLSS not initialising correctly
We hope you enjoy you first stay in INDUSTRIA 2! And if you do please consider following and wishlisting it and leaving a review on the demo. That would be very helpful to us.
Talk to you again very soon friends!
