Mostly for our current players: what's new!
- Campaign for the Children of the Source to bring the story line to a conclusion!
- Online multiplayer
- Achievements
- AI improvements
- A new planet with more skirmish maps
- 7 new buildings and a few more collectible items on the maps
- Two more defensive buildings at the base
- The usual set of smaller improvements and bug fixes
Details about multiplayer
As it turns out, there are now four different ways to play with your friends:
- Steam
- LAN
- Local hot-seat
- Steam remote play together
The Steam/LAN multiplayer has been available in a beta for a couple of weeks, but we'd like to be extra careful, so it will be still marked as 'beta' in the main menu. We expect that despite our continuous testing there will be a few bugs we haven't found yet and there are a few planned improvements on our list that should arrive in an update very soon. If you run into any issues while playing online, please let us know and share your save files for example on the community discord:

Note: The architecture is client-host, so there's no reliance on remote servers.
You might be already asking: What's next?
We'd like to share more details soon in a separate post, but yes, there's more to come! As always, there are smaller items, features and improvements on the list and we're finalizing our plans for future DLCs, so stay tuned!
Early Access recap
We launched Early Access in September 2024 and since then we brought various updates with not only improvements based on your feedback, but also a lot of content and features. This allowed our relatively small team to finish what we planned for and improve the game significantly, so big thanks to everybody who had faith in us and already got the game during this time! Also, very special thanks to our community translators, the amount of texts in the game has grown to
- [March 2025] The UNSS faction with its campaign
- [July 2025] Map editor, workshop, random maps
- [October 2025] Tumori Tribes faction, Sovereign Fleet campaign
Smaller updates also brought the Iron Mole difficulty mode, Remote play together and co-op hotseat, faction skills, Psyker Abilities, new neutral units and a lot of items and buildings on the map.
Launch discount and price
We launch with the highest possible launch discount, so feel free to take advantage of that! :) Then, as the game now has roughly twice as much content compared to when it launched in Early Access, after the discount finishes, we'll adjust the base price from 25 to 30 USD/EUR to reflect the value we believe HoSaF brings. There will still be regular discounts, don't worry. :)
