Diets & Deities is officially out now on Steam!
Diets & Deities is a rhythm cooking game where you play as Nephele, the first (and potentially last) deity created in a millennia and it's up to you to dance and dodge your way through forgotten cultures, move to the beat, and eat your weight in long-lost dishes. Discover the music and recipes from diverse cultures as you dodge to the beat and uncover the flavours of the universe.
You can experience:
- Diverse areas and characters inspired by cultures shared by the team: Australia (with First Nations creatives), Bali, Brazil, and China
- Locally composed and produced music with authentic cultural instruments, sounds, and beats
- Wholesome and non-competitive rhythm gameplay that focuses on an audio-visual experience and satisfaction over perfection
- Real recipes inspired by each culture for players to unlock and cook at home
- Environments, characters, and music working in rhythmic harmony to create a cultural and culinary experience worth bopping along to!
We're so excited to finally share our game with you and would love to hear your thoughts! If you'd like to give us feedback or just chat about your favourite dishes, can join our Discord Community!
