Sorry about the radio silence for a while, we were on a short break from development, plus the time we did spend working was quiet because we're cooking up quite the update...
Steam cloud has now been added for Windows, with Mac support (and cross platform saves hopefully) being soon to follow. You can now enjoy one epic story across a laptop, pc, steam deck, and whatever steam-capable devices you have that we can't think of.
