Survivors,
a new major update is now available!
This update brings a complete overhaul to archery, introduces a playable female character, and rolls out a variety of Gameplay changes.
The archery update features reworked animations and models, along with the addition of the new powerful recurve bow, a stronger weapon at the iron tier level. And after forging some arrowheads, it is now also possible to craft yourself some iron arrows! But note, arrows will now need feathers to be crafted, which can be found throughout the world or harvested from seagulls.
You may as well now choose to play as either a male or female character. To make the story suitable for both, the protagonist's name has been updated to a unisex version, that is visible on the cryocapsule and the notes scattered across the world.
This update also brings various new mechanics to enrich Gameplay:
The first to name is the comfortable status effect that increases your health regeneration. It can stack up to multiple levels, but is only active while being in a comfortable area.
The second new mechanic is stamina. It depletes when using tools and weapons or running around. The amount that is needed for each task is also influenced by the new stamina skill.
And the third one is the rested status effect that temporarily increases stamina, it can be obtained by sleeping while being comfortable and stacks up to the same level as the comfort status.
For more details, check out the full release notes below.
And to address the reoccurring concern about travel times between islands, all sailing vessels are now 30-40% faster, making your journeys smoother and quicker than ever.
