After months of hard work, I'm proud to announce the first of a long series of updates to the community. I'm very excited to show you everything new and what I was working on.
First of all, as you may have noticed, the game was renamed from 'Project New Horizon' to 'Under A New Sun' to give it a more fitting title. The decision was tough and it took me some time to work everything out, but I'm glad I've done it!
The game received several major graphical improvements and various new models for old and new things. A new and huge handmade map with a lot more to discover, plenty of islands, underwater places and remainings of the crashed ship are waiting to be explored. The sky was reworked to fit better to the mood of the game, and a global wind system got introduced that will influence the weather and sailing abilities of your ships. But don't worry, you can now also adjust the sails of your vessel to the wind!
These are just a few of the recent updates and there are a lot more to come!
As some of you have been asking for a better possibility to communicate with the developer, there is now also a Discord server linked on the store page, free for everybody to join!
Please let me know if you got any feedback, critique or ideas for the future development!
Until the next update
