It’s time, dino fans!
A new (and final) Dark Age Dinos demo is coming to Steam Next Fest Oct 19th. The game has changed so much with your feedback that it’s hard to even list it all! We’ll try anyway.
The Tavern
The new character screen gives your party a classic starting point while providing 500% more dinosaur. We did the math.

New Map
The map of Cretacia is more mysterious. And dour. And beautiful. And abstract. It’s also been reworked to give more interesting strategic choices at each fork in the road.

Party Cursors
The party that plans together, stays together. You are no longer limited to only seeing your friends in combat. Cursors will show you what’s on their mind on the map, during events and in shops.

Stickers
Sometimes, a floating hand just isn’t enough. We now have a sticker wheel that lets you spam...er...”notify” your teammates about your intentions. Or you could just apologize for the terrible thing you did in the last fight.

Gamepad Support
Dark Age Dinos officially supports gamepads! All of the game’s UI has been overhauled to give a better experience for both gamepad and mouse users. We’d love to hear your feedback about this feature in particular and look forward to refining it more alongside you as we approach full release.
Note: We are not yet Steamdeck verified at time of writing, but we're working on getting that checkmark!

Camera Tweaks
A significant amount of effort has gone into improving the feel of our automatic camera system to better frame the action in high-impact moments (meteors falling, big dinosaurs talking and so on).
The Compendium
Everybody loves a collectathon, right? The new collection menu lets you track your win/loss rates, what items you use the most and lets you know how many passives you haven't managed to find yet.
We’ve also replaced nearly every icon in the game and made sweeping balance changes to passive rewards. Your old favourites are still there, they just look a little different!

New Content
Wait! There’s even more to mention? Oh, yeah..there’s just new stuff to see. There are 10 new passives. And a new boss. And two new events. It’s crazy! Even if you’ve played the demo in the past, there’s a lot to discover if you’re considering another run.

And More!
We really can’t describe everything, or you’d be reading all day. We can’t wait to see what you all think during Steam Next Fest!
