~~~Happy Holidays!!~~~
Thank you very much for playing the demo version of NOVA ANTARCTICA.
To help you enjoy a smoother and more comfortable experience, we’d like to share the following tips.
Please check them out and continue enjoying the game!
NOVA ANTARCTICA Demo Play Guide
① Save Timing
Your progress is saved when you move to the next stage or when you open the pause menu.
② About Difficulty
There is no difficulty setting option.
However, wandering off or getting lost will make the game harder by design.
Conversely, aiming straight for the goal will feel like an easy mode.
③ Know the Goal Location
Until you get used to the game, start exploring near the goal and expand your range from there.
This way, you can quickly exit the stage when needed.
④ About Stamina
Stamina does not recover naturally, so you need to be careful about what actions you take.
However, sprinting consumes very little stamina, so feel free to run around as much as you like—probably.
⑤ Backpack Fuel / Stamina / Inventory Slots Can Be Upgraded
You can increase these limits by obtaining specific items.
These items can be found as event rewards or in certain locations.
⑥ Wolf’s Stamina
The wolf’s stamina recovers naturally. If it can’t run anymore, dismount and switch to exploring on foot.
It should recover after a while.
You can also increase the wolf’s stamina limit with certain items.
⑦ Objects for Ending Branches
These objects are randomly placed at several locations.
Using an item detector beforehand will help narrow down their positions.
If you get a game over, their locations may reset.
⑧ How to Find Important Items
Using the item detector will give you a rough idea of where items are clustered,
making exploration safer. Be sure to try it out!
⑨ Mining Ores and Breaking Fallen Trees
If possible, set up a tent or a simple shelter beforehand.
When your stamina runs out, rest inside to recover naturally.
This way, you can focus your recovery resources on backpack fuel.
⑩ When the Weather Is Bad
There’s no need to push forward during bad weather.
Indoor areas are warm, so during a blizzard, it’s a good time to warm up and organize your inventory.
Poor visibility due to radiation or thick fog often comes with warmth too,
so resting in a tent to recover stamina is a great opportunity.
⑪ If You Notice Performance Issues While Playing
Pause the game and restart from “Continue” to improve performance.
