Finally, we can begin sharing and discussing the progress we have made since the beginning of 2022.
Last year presented many exciting opportunities and challenges for our team and studio. We choose to focus on developing a new full-production game, incorporating feedback and influences from our previous project Shattle, while also considering what we could deliver.
For our new game, STRIDEN, we have pushed ourselves to our limits. With more time, innovation, efficiency, and a solid plan, we see the shape of a fun first-person shooter emerging.

At the start of 2022, we focused on creating a solid structure for the project using agile management to handle any changes or feedback efficiently. Once this was in place, we immediately began playtesting and shaping the game's core. In the autumn, we implemented more crucial elements to the game loop, and it's becoming clear that our plans are coming to fruition. This was not the case with Shattle, as we had less time and it was a concept game.
In the Development Recap, we will delve deeper into each feature, character, map, and how we brought them to life. Some new systems and innovations have been necessary for us as a small team to deliver the highest quality possible.
We welcome you to STRIDEN and our community! We are eager to hear your thoughts and feedback.
