Artillery Barrages
Artillery strikes are now available during battles spectating the battlefield.
Precision Strike fires one accurately targeted shell.
Multi-Barrage fires 3–5 shells across a larger area.
Smarter AI and Combat
AI has received a major overhaul.
Units notice nearby enemies more reliably and are less likely to run straight past them.
Soldiers react to incoming damage, investigate threats, and alert nearby teammates.
Different weapons now encourage different fighting styles:
SMGs and modern pistols work better while moving.
Bows, sniper rifles, bolt-action rifles, revolvers, and older weapons favor slower, more deliberate attacks.
Improved combat on stairs, rooftops, bunkers, multi-floor buildings, and at long distances.
AI now uses fewer resources, helping large battles run more smoothly.
Units can recover when an animation or weapon action becomes interrupted.
Player Controls and HUD
Hold Interact while controlling a character to return them to AI control and switch back to the flying camera.
Improved camera-based movement in third person.
Smoother transitions between first and third-person views.
Added third-person camera collision to stop the camera passing through nearby objects.
Flying-camera speed is now more consistent during lag or frame-rate drops.
Fixed shotgun and revolver reloads occasionally becoming permanently stuck.
Added recovery for interrupted reloads, bolt actions, weapon racking, vaulting, and weapon switching.
Fixed line and box placement previews occasionally remaining after units were spawned.
Performance and Stability
Large battles should now run more smoothly
Improved how distant characters, weapons, corpses, and debris are simplified.
Reduced slowdowns caused by AI, spawning, explosions, bullets, tracers, blood, decals, audio, and battle restoration.
Fire, Ragdolls, Blood, and Dismemberment
Burning characters now periodically scream using appropriate male, female, or zombie voices.
Characters killed by fire now panic and flail before gradually losing strength.
Added more intense male and female death sounds for fire, explosions, and major dismemberment.
Fixed ragdolls occasionally appearing in a T-pose.
Blood marks are now managed more efficiently, improving performance during especially violent battles.
Improved blood and decal cleanup when memory is limited.
Audio
Rebalanced overall sound volume, including several gunshots that were previously too quiet.
Important sounds now remain clearer during extremely large battles.
Improved world sound handling and reuse.
Fixed music and looping sounds occasionally failing to resume after pausing, switching apps, or losing audio focus.
Added new artillery, incoming-shell, burning, and extreme-death sounds.
Levels, Saves, and Mods
Restarting battles and changing levels now use less memory.
Mod downloads now include retries, file validation, safer installation, and recovery from interrupted updates.
Failed mod loads now cancel safely instead of leaving the game stuck.
Dynamic Sky and Weather
Built-in levels now have their own custom Dynamic Sky presets.
Weather, time of day, fog, lighting, and atmosphere are saved separately for each level.
Reset Sky Settings now applies immediately and saves the restored settings.
Light Intensity now affects the entire sky system, including ambient light, fog, sunlight, and nighttime brightness.
