Hi Adventurers,
This update brings changes to the Adventure Points (AP) system to make progress a bit easier. We have heard your feedback and have re-added the ability to gain AP by interacting with lower-value monsters and chests. We have also increased the amount of AP earned for retrieving loot including treasure items. Please note that all AP earned for retrieving loot, including treasure, is displayed in the ‘itemachieve’ score.
We have made a change to our policy regarding teaming to improve our anti-cheat/exploit process. ALL teaming, including organic teaming, is now prohibited in the High-Roller dungeons and is now a bannable offence. The High-Roller dungeons are meant to be a dangerous environment and too many unscrupulous players would hide behind the ambiguity of the previous policy to the detriment of the overall experience, thus the change in policy. We will continue to crack down on players who exploit the systems to ensure a clean experience.
Finally, we want adventurers to know that we are working on some big item changes for the near future. We feel that there are fundamental issues with the current system, which is causing us to use the Gear Score system as a crutch. This is having undesirable consequences that seep into all corners of the game. We are currently exploring solutions to this issue which will likely see a large overhaul to the item system. We hope to get the first parts of this overhaul implemented in the upcoming weeks and wanted to give everyone advance notice. We expect some turbulence this season as we smooth out the wrinkles but believe this will fundamentally create a much stronger and healthy game for the future. Thank you and see you in the dungeons!
