Hello, Dear Players!
It's been a while since we last met. I am John, your adventurous independent game developer. Over the past three years, in my spare time, I have been diligently working on creating the second installment of the Timeless series, Timeless Heart VR.
I must admit, as my first game, Timeless Paradox VR had its shortcomings. However, it also received unexpected feedback and hope from players. Yet, as a framework built by a novice, its scalability was limited. Therefore, three years ago, right after the release of the first game, I began working on the second installment.
The first game not only brought me valuable experience but also introduced me to many talented partners. Their assistance has been invaluable in the development of the second installment. Whether it's in design or promotion, they have contributed greatly to the project.
When it comes to "Timeless Heart VR," what I aim to deliver is the exploration of more possibilities in VR combat interaction. I believe that the current VR market lacks diverse combat modes, and I don't want this game to become just another simple zombie shooting game. Reflecting on the anime "Sword Art Online," one aspect I aspire to present is the ability to engage in cooperative swordplay alongside teammates.

The Rubber Hand Illusion effect is a fascinating experiment that greatly inspired the combat system in my creation. It involves synchronizing one's movements with a prosthetic limb (rubber hand), eventually leading individuals to perceive the prosthetic as part of their own body. Drawing from this concept, I envisioned allowing the sword techniques to be performed through this connection. With this idea in mind, I embarked on the design of the game.
I am pleased with the current results of the design, and the entire game framework has been successfully constructed. I am now focusing on accelerating the story development to provide you all with a fulfilling experience in this game. I hope that Timeless Heart VR will bring you joy and create wonderful moments for you to cherish.
The game is expected to be completed later this year, and I plan to release some interim demos earlier for feedback. Please stay tuned and look forward to it. Your support and anticipation are greatly appreciated.
Yours
John & Team Chariot
