Yumyums
You may have noticed on the Steam page that our characters are playing with sweets look alike items and not tools, we've been preparing this transition for a while for the game and it is finally happening, let me introduce you : the Yumyums!
Sixteen are already in the game right now, split among 4 themes (Asia, Planets, Season, Holidays), and more are to come alongside a collection system.

Note that for this update, only the items sprites have changed and we still have to work on adding new animations and content related to yumyums.
UI Changes
During the Steam Next Fest, we received a lot of feedback, most of which we have already taken into account, like tutorials and game length for example. This update brings more requested features such as a way to see what your next block is going to be, but we had to find a way to add it to the existing UI, and as we failed to do so we decided to completely rework the player panel of the building phase.

The panel size now adapts according to how many bonuses you have left in stock and shows you the shape of the next block you're going to get. One of the only thing we kept from the previous panel is the counter telling you how many blocks are left in your library.
Preparing Localization
We thought it would be a good time to start localizing the game, but as soon as we started working on the french translation, we encountered a problem : our font didn't have accents.
This is most certainly something we did not think about, our main concern being finding a font that would fit the game aesthetically, and as bad as it is to have to let down the font we chose, we picked the most resembling one we could find that also had accents.
We already have a few ideas for languages to translate the game into, like French, Spanish, German, ..., but feel free to suggest what language you'd like SMYS to be translated to. We don't have a lot of text in the game, and adding more languages would not be a huge financial cost if we don't translate the Steam page.
What's Coming Next
Well, as you could expect, more content. More picking phases and building phases, as well as more bonuses, but not for the demo.
We are currently preparing for Early Access and we'd like even the very first EA version to have enough content to justify the price, which will not increase as we progress towards 1.0 release.
A full roadmap will be available on the Steam page as soon as we enter Early Access in the upcoming months.
Most of the updates the demo will receive from now on will be bug fixing and polishing.
