🎮 BOSS ARENA 1.0 – A New Chapter
BOSS ARENA originally began as a free experience where we could test combat, enemies, and mechanics that could also be used in Goldilock One: The Mists of Jakaira.
But during development, we realized it could become more than just a testing ground.
Over time, we expanded the experience with new weapons, armor, abilities, and level-based attribute progression, creating more build possibilities and giving the game an identity of its own.
At the same time, we want to preserve its original purpose: to remain a place where we can experiment with new enemies, Bosses, and combat systems.
⚔️ More Progression, More Possibilities
Version 1.0 offers a much more complete experience than the one that first entered Early Access.
Players can now:
Progress through XP and levels.
Distribute Attribute Points.
Experiment with different weapons and armor.
Create different builds and combat styles.
Face a wider variety of challenges and Bosses.
Our goal is to keep expanding these possibilities over time.
🧬 The Next Enemy Is Already on the Way
We can already confirm the next challenge.
The Infected Cupendipe, a creature born from a failed mutation, is planned to arrive within two months after launch.
Our goal is to try to maintain a pace of at least one new enemy every two months, whenever development resources allow it.
💎 A Free Experience
BOSS ARENA will remain free.
The Crystals available in the game can also be earned simply by playing. Purchasing them is mainly intended as an optional way to support the development of the project.
We hope to keep expanding the game through this support, as well as through the continued development and success of Goldilock One: The Mists of Jakaira.
👥 An Independent Project
Our journey began in 2019, involving university students, countless versions, tests, feedback, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way.
We are an independent team, and we have done our best with the resources available to us throughout this journey.
Version 1.0 does not represent the end of BOSS ARENA.
For us, it marks the moment when that small combat laboratory finally became an experience of its own.
Thank you to everyone who played, shared feedback, and followed the project along the way.
See you in the Arena. ❤️

We are a small indie studio, which means the boundaries between roles are often crossed and shared.
Whether for the health of the creative process or out of necessity and team versatility, we are always striving to become more well-rounded, capable, and professional developers.
We continue to give our best to this project every step of the way, and we are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come with the brave exiles who keep moving forward.
A special thank you to all the spouses, partners, and family members who supported their loved ones throughout this journey.
A special thank you to those who are still with the studio, and our gratitude as well to those who have contributed their time and effort along the way.
