I’m the developer behind Dragon Spirit: Chronicles of Metapolis City, and honestly, I’ve lost track of how many seasons have passed since this journey began. What started as a hazy dream and a road full of twists and turns has finally transformed into the latest chapter of the Dragon Spirit series, and today, that chapter is yours to explore!
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has been with us—whether you’re a longtime fan, a new player, a sponsor, or part of the team behind the scenes. Your belief in us has been our driving force. With just two of us steering this ship, completing such a colossal project seemed impossible at times, but your support made it a reality. Now that I look back, it’s surreal to see just how far we’ve come, and how what began as a small idea grew into something so massive.
Metapolis City is a bold departure from our previous title, Academy. We’ll dive into the details of these differences in a future post, but suffice to say, our experiences during the creation of Academy revealed both its limitations and untapped potential. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of sources, we’ve reimagined the world of Dragon Spirit into something completely new—a vibrant urban fantasy.
We believe the game is already in a polished state, which is why we chose this release window. However, the journey doesn’t end here. We still have a lot of exciting content in the pipeline, and its final form will be shaped by your feedback. Whether it's additional mini-games that capture the everyday life of Metapolis, new Dragon Spirits and blessings, or tougher combat challenges, we’re eager to refine and expand the game based on your experiences.
Your thoughts mean the world to us. As a two-person team, we’ve tested this game so many times that we practically know the dialogue by heart (and are a little sick of it!). Yet, we know there’s no way we’ve caught every bug or polished every edge. That’s where you come in.
