🏰 NEW CITY: Morgrim Access from map 523 “Morgrim Mountain”
A hidden city discovered by dwarves.
You can reach this new city by sailing. It contains an Ancient Anvil used to work the new mineral “Blodium”, which can be mined in Map 182 “Blodium Settlement”, located on the outskirts of Morgrim. To mine it, you need a Special Miner’s Pickaxe, which can only be obtained from a Repeatable Quest, not purchased.
⛏️ What is Blodium used for?
This new material is required to craft the new “Elemental Runes”: applying one of these runes to any weapon enchants it, granting a new power to be used against a new type of Elemental Creatures.
To complete the creation of these Runes, the Worker class must complete a series of quests starting at level 28. The NPC “Thirga Brumhilda” provides these quests. She is located in Map 594 “Fortress of Morgrim” and requires collecting 50 Pages of each Recipe (with the quest active, each Element Bearer has a 10% chance to drop a page when killed).
🌟 NEW NPCs: Element Bearers
In Map 556 “Spirit Forest” you will gain access to a new map called “Ancestral Plane”, which contains a new group of NPCs called “Element Bearers”. Each Bearer has a 0.1% chance to drop an Elemental Essence upon death. There are 4 types of Essences, one for each Element (Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth).
Essences are used to imbue weapons and modify damage depending on the enemy type. Below is a table showing each Element’s performance against another:
Fire: x2 damage vs Earth | x0.5 vs Fire and Water
Water: x2 damage vs Fire | x0.5 vs Water and Wind
Earth: x2 damage vs Wind | x0.5 vs Earth and Fire
Wind: x2 damage vs Water | x0.5 vs Wind and Earth
An enchanted weapon only applies modified damage to NPCs. These weapons drop on death, and once enchanted, the applied element cannot be removed or changed.
🐢 NEW DUNGEON: Turtle Island (map 475)
Accessible from level 25.
This dungeon has two floors, each containing two types of Elemental Turtles. If you attack each Turtle with the correct Element, you will effectively apply the x2 damage bonus.
