Welcome back!
We have been steaming ahead with Chapter 3 this past week or so making a LOT more progress than I thought possible. Yeah, we've put it a tonne of extra long nights and NO that isn't sustainable forever but it puts a smile on my face seeing the scenes being chalked off.
I've drawn up a quick chart of the current Chapter 3 progress below. I'll try and remember to post this alongside my upcoming dev diaries as it gives a better visual representation of the progress rather than me trying to describe which scenes have progressed.
As you can see, we are splitting Chapter 3 into 2 releases...part 1 and, well...part 2. We will be releasing these as follows:
Chapter 3 Part 1 - Release date TBA - Available to EVERYBODY (VIP DLC holders get it 2 weeks early)
Chapter 3 Part 2 - Release date TBA - Available to EVERYBODY (VIP DLC holders get it 2 weeks early)
These releases are NOT beta preview releases (unlike 0.3.2). You WILL be able to save your game and your progress WILL follow you into part 2 and every subsequent release. Of course as we discussed a few months back, you will be required to create a new save game once part 1 is released due to a complete recode.
Obviously because we are splitting this release into 2 parts that means some of the content that you can see right now (the Sophia date and subsequent lewd content for example) will be missing from the part 1 release. Don't worry though, that will be returning with the part 2 release and there will be lots of other new content scattered around both part 1 and part 2. Judging by the chapter 3 outline I anticipate the NEW chapter 3 will be double the length of the old chapter 3. Exciting!
