Patch Notes 2024-12-02

PATCH NOTES: February 12, 2024

Localization

  • Updated in-game Localization

Combat & Animation Bugfixes:

  • Fixed an issue where if a creature died during an animation, the animation would still play in its entirety
  • Fixed a bug where no footstep sound would play in lock-on mode while strafing
  • Improved visual overlay effect for iframes during dodge and when receiving damage; it’s now applied to the entire character.

Town Building Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug where the general workbench didn't count towards upgrade requirements.
  • Fixed an issue with pinned recipes, specifically with the cost reduction perk on certain crafting recipes.
  • Fixed an issue with Building Pieces that displayed an incorrect, alternative version of the selected piece while moving the piece around
  • Fixed an issue that caused scaled Building Pieces to change their scaling after being moved
  • Fixed certain areas where Creatures could spawn or walk into cliffs near Lovers Shire
  • Fixed an issue that prevented claiming abandoned towns that didn't have a gate

Town Attacks Adjustments:

  • Implemented new possible Town Attack Outcome - “Draw”, which will be triggered, when
  • Enemies are not defeated within the Town Attack time limit
  • No valid path can be found from a gate to the Town Center
  • The attacking Enemies can’t find a valid spawn location
  • A draw lets the current Wrath goes down by 10, so if you deposit another Crystal an attack will start
  • Losing a town attack does not cause a deleveling, it will reduce the crystals you put into the town by by 50% and reset the wrath to 0

Known Issues:

  • We have made 'leveling up' the town a bespoke interaction. This button does not automatically appear in the town menu when you meet the requirements, you will have to close and reopen the town menu.
  • Darkwood Beams use a smaller variant as default, these don't connect to the ground. You can switch to the large one by Shift+Scrolling
  • The combat finishers we removed still have an entry in the Keybinds, this key is shared with 'Copy Blueprint'. You can ignore the duplicating keybind warning when you assign a new key to copy blueprint.

As always, we appreciate your feedback, and if you have something to say, let us know on our Discord!
