The Ambassadors Return?!
New Project Announcement!
Thanks to everyone who's been supporting this game, sending their love my way, and telling me they want a sequel to Coterie 1. I'm happy to report that I'm starting work on "Coterie 2" (still working on the name but it's so far called 'The Ambassador's Allegiance') and, thanks to everyones' purchases, will be bringing a fantastic artist aboard to help me out with the game's character sprites and CGs!
No planned release date at this time as I'm just now starting to really crystallize the game's plot, structure, and characters. But I can reveal a little bit about where the second game will be going.
- The setting will be Gauss' homeland!
- Larger cast of characters with more detailed art!
- A run-time from 2 - 5 hours.
- Some optional paths along with potential bisexual content
- Multiple endings
- A more refined User Interface
- An even larger and more awesome soundtrack
- Even more intrigue, danger, and romance!
Coterie 2 will delve deeper into the relationship between the star-crossed romance of Ambassador Gauss and the now Former Lord Iyrgrahm and throw both their treasured relationship and their very lives into peril!
The intrigues deepen! For what reason was Gauss really recalled? Can they survive in their homeland, robbed of their protections, armed only with their wit and body? What dangers lurk in the shadows of the Empire's capital, Calistram, Gauss' once hometown?
The peril increases! How will Iyrgrahm protect Gauss when they're an entire ocean away? How far will Gauss go to protect their love? Will blood be spilled?
The fires of Rebellion are smoldering -- and so, too, will the romance!
I'm looking forward to sharing more with you in the future as I start fleshing the game out! Please keep telling folks who love boys-love about the game; I'm putting a lot of my own money in to the project and, if I can get enough support, I might even be able to launch a Kickstarter for the game and secure the life of this possible series.
Be sure to stay subscribed to Coterie's announcements as I'll be using these to update everyone on the game's progress as I proceed and maybe even give away some keys to the game as I work on it. More to come and I'm very excited to share this next game with you!
In the meantime, please enjoy both a lower price for the game and also a special, one week, 69% discount on the game to celebrate! 15% of the proceeds of this sale will go to helping out said fantastic artist who is responsible for the amazing character art above. The week-long discount starts on August 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST and will last through to the 29th at the same time.
