Hi everyone! We'd like to start by saying THANK YOU on behalf of the entire team at Triangle-Factory. This was the best game launch we could have hoped for.
We are committed to making Breachers the best multiplayer shooter out there and the team is excited to get started on all the features that are yet to come.
About the launch
We are thrilled with all the positive reviews, feedback, fantastic videos and the large number of players in the game. The entire team was glued to the screen, looking at the amount of players rise.. and rise... and rise even more!
The launch went extremely smooth, even though some users experienced minor issues with our services. Don't worry, we're looking into these problems and we'll get them sorted out for you as soon as possible. If you encounter problems, hit us up on our discord (breachersvr.com/discord).
Additionally, we got reports that some users had their pre-orders automatically cancelled, which prevented them from receiving their pre-order skin. If this happened to you, don't worry. We can still activate your skin if you email us ([email protected]) with your proof of pre-order and your support code (found in the game under settings -> support).
Due the amount of servers our server browser can act weird and only show one server. Just click "enable high ping servers" to view all the servers. They might show as 999 ping but they aren't. We're of course fixing this asap.
What's next for Breachers?
Glad you asked! While we cannot yet provide a detailed timeline, we can share some information about what's coming up. We are currently working on two new maps, which are very different from the four maps currently in the game. We are also developing a new game mode.
Our first big update will focus on the "Competitive" mode. This means that players will be able to queue up for ranked matches and receive a rating that expresses their skill level. We are still finalizing the details of this mode, but we are excited to see how it will enhance the game.
A content update like we described above will take some time. Don't worry though, we will still push minor updates that will fix issues or improve some already existing features.
Finally, we want to share some statistics with you. Even though the game has only been out for less than 24 hours at the time of writing, we are impressed by some of the numbers we've seen. Here are some highlights:
- 11,000 frag grenade kills
- 45,000 healing syringe uses
- 322,000 player deaths
- 34,000 teams eliminated
- 555 breaching foam kills
Once again, we want to thank you all for the amazing launch of Breachers. Please feel free to stop by our Discord (breachersvr.com/discord) and let us know what you think!
See you in the game!
