Greetings, brave renovators!
We are extending the playtests for Haunted House Renovator until Wednesday, May 22nd.
We're battling a particularly pesky crash that happens when you enter the bathroom, and we need your help to exorcise this bug! If you’ve encountered this crash in the latest version (1.3.70), please send us your logs using our Bug Report Form or via on DISCORD. You can find your logs at: C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Haunted\Saved\Logs.
To give us more time to fix this, we are extending the playtest period by two extra days, until Wednesday.
Here’s a reminder on how to launch the game:
- Download and install Haunted House Renovator from Steam.
- Launch the game and immerse yourself in the spooky renovations.
- Report any issues you encounter to help us make the game better.
Don’t forget to join our Discord server for real-time support and use the game widget for quick access. If you’re ever unsure about what to do next, our community and team are here to guide you through the haunted hallways.
If your game is not launching at all (you don't even see the launcher), you can use this workaround to try the playtest while we work on a better solution:And if you had this issue, please let us know which antivirus software you're using! You can use the bug reporting form. This will help us a lot!
- Right click on the playtest in your Steam library, hover over 'Manage' and click on 'Browse local files'
- This will open your installation folder. Inside, you should see a file called 'Haunted.exe'. Try launching that
Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make Haunted House Renovator the best it can be for the upcoming Steam Fest in June. Happy haunting and happy renovating!
