Version 1.2 of The Bad Son offers new content, which players can enjoy right now, and among which is a new map and tributes to the anti-authoritarian film The Truman Show and to the Brave New World author. We also fixed health point bugs thanks to the community.
Below we refer to the main new features included in version 1.2:
New map
Many players have asked us to include a map; in this sense, although we are not convinced that the exploration experience is the same with a map, we prefer that player has the option to use it in case they wish.
The Other Truman Show + achievement
In this new side quest, unlike in the movie, Tom will not be trying to take a bus to escape control, but rather will be trying to convince the taxi driver to drive him out of Derrigtown. Nevertheless...
Somatic soma + achievement
What happened to the junkies in town after the guerrilla war started? Who the hell cares about them? How can they stand another minute without the soma the system offers while their heads are eaten by monkeys? Find out in this new side quest, which pays tribute to Huxley, author of Brave New World.
Bug fixes
Thanks to the feedback we have received, we have managed to fix the bugs regarding life points. In the previous version, when Tom put on a workman's helmet or wielded a pistol, the hit points could change confusingly. Those bugs are gone! Thanks for the feedback!
