Costumes and Character Creator
A new Viking costume set has been added for males, females, and big guys. For this costume, we researched the authentic Viking outfits and armor collected by Viking museums. The outfits often differ considerably from those used in fictional works.
The Ship of Heroes Viking costume set has 10 pieces for each body type, including some "everyday" wear and some fancy armored pieces. Pieces are exquisitely detailed, with authentic patterns.
All pieces can be recolored, which might not lead to only authentic looking costumes. As with all pieces, the Viking costume pieces can be mixed and matched with other costume pieces.
Gameplay
- A taunt power got added to the Fiery Melee which is one of the tanker powersets.
- In flight combat animations were added to some powers.
Big Raids and Invasions
We made some more progress on the raid this month. The raid UI we have been developing for 10 teams of 10 and testing with simulated characters, got battle tested with live players under NDA. If you are interested, you can sign up here to become a tester. You will have an opportunity to tell us what kind of testing you are interested in doing.

We polled our community about raids. We received several hundred responses, many quite thoughtful, and are reviewing them carefully to guide our raid development.
