Targeting 1.0
- Added night targeting, allowing players to target other players with their abilities at night.
- There are currently 5 types of abilities:
- On the first night abilities, such as the Guardian Angel's bind, which will only allow the player to target on the first night.
- Each Night abilities, such as the Bodyguard's protect, which have no cost and can be used once per night.
- Abilities with a certain amount of charges, such as the Shield Maiden's protect, that can be used a certain amount of times per game.
- Abilities that cost resources, such as the Fire Mage's fireball, that require the player to have enough of a certain resource to use the ability.
- Ultimates, such as the Chronomancer's paradox, which can only be used once per game.
- Permanent effects are carried over to the next day, where as non permanent effects can always be viewed via target history.
- Targeting currently decides 'Can I target' for a player. Deciding based on your ability's type, if it costs anything, your resources, if you've already used it, etc to decide if you can use the ability.
- In the future targeting will also take into account 'Who can I target'. Restricting available targets to valid/allowed targets. For example the grave digger should only ever target dead players, and the bodyguard should not be able to target himself.
