This patch resolves the save game wiping bug that some players were experiencing. After investigation we identified that a script loading error was interrupting save game loading, resulting in them inadvertently failing and wiping previous saves.
We understand how frustrating this would have been for players, and so we want to say a huge thank you for your patience and understanding while we identified this issue!
If you were impacted by the save wipe, we want to share a little tip with you to help you get caught up to where you previously were. If you enter /dogmode on into the developer console, Omi will allow you to skip puzzles by accepting any solution as correct. This will allow you to simply smash the enter key to submit solutions and skip the puzzle end popups. Then, once you're caught up, enter /dogmode off to continue playing as normal.
Or don't, we're not the boss of you! There might even be an associated achievement in future for playing the game with dogmode.
Changes
Resolved a script loading bug that was causing saved games to fail loading and be inadvertently wiped.
Known Issues
There is some minor UI flickering on some transitions when the game pauses and unpauses rapidly.
Restarting the game does not correctly wipe the last puzzle state.
