Six months ago, Deep Russian Depression was released on Steam. Who could have thought that this launch would trigger a chain of fateful events and desperate decisions that would impact the rest of my life? Much like the protagonist of the Alan Wake series, I found myself in the shoes of the titular character, trapped in a nightmare of my own making. I wish I could say that the worst is behind me, but as the saying goes: "We haven't even started yet."
Naturally, I couldn't care less about the development of Deep Russian Depression during this time. And yet, sooner or later, the goals set will be achieved in full! Over these past six months, I’ve come to look at the world around me a bit differently. There is no more room in my heart for past grudges or regrets, which is why I am declaring a general amnesty within the Deep Russian Depression community — everyone who has been banned for whatever reason will be unbanned today.
I have no desire to dwell on what's happening in the country, so I will just throw out some keywords: blackouts, drones, fuel, smoke, "pops," marketplaces, warehouses, "you are here," elections, mobilization, shortages, cold, hunger, nukes, death. I hope every single one of you survives the autumn and winter. But if fate decides otherwise, let’s hope it ends quickly.
