Good morning family-
Today we bring you our last big update on the test branch before we push IAI 6 to everyone. From now on until release it will be only about bugfixes, your feedback counts so feel to reach out about any issues with the release.

multiple fixes and QOL changes across multiple features
🔵 Lite & Plus
Task board
A cleaner, slicker task board: collapsible Focused / Other groups with counts, tidier status-column headers, and redrawn task cards.
Canvas
New background scrim — give a board a color wash with adjustable opacity and blend mode, previewed live and removable at any time; corners are rounded to match the board.
Richer node cards — cards show a subtitle and up to five description lines, and size themselves to their content
image cards are taller and keep their proportions.
Height-aware resizing — resize nodes in both dimensions with per-display min/max limits (the resize buttons disable when you hit a limit).
Show task status — an optional toggle outlines nodes red / yellow / green by to-do / in-progress / done.
Multi-layer nodes, board background that updates on save
more readable links on light (dark-text) skins.
With child lock on, canvases are scoped to the child's own world.
🟣 Plus
Canvas Home (new — Plus only)
Canvas Home is a Plus feature. Turn it on in Settings and your home page becomes a full-screen canvas board
the classic grid stays the default until you opt in.
A collapsible side menu brings the whole launcher onto your home: every feature box, quick-adds, and a node search that highlights matches right on the board. It has hidden / rail / expanded modes, can be pinned open, and remembers its state across restarts.
Page between your boards with the on-board arrows or PageUp / PageDown, set any board as home, and create, rename, delete or reorder boards right there — no trip to the launcher (delete has an Undo).
Reorder in place with the cycler's arrows, jump around with Ctrl+N (new board), Ctrl+B (menu) and Ctrl+F (search), and see where you are with a position indicator (2 / 5).
Confirmation toasts on set-as-home, rename and create; ESC clears the search and hands focus back to the board; the home board fades cleanly out when you focus a node
Canvas Home resumes on your last board, repairs a deleted home board, shows a friendly empty state, and respects child lock.
Nucleus
Link display settings — lightness, thickness and saturation controls, now at parity with Canvas.
See you in, superstar.
