MAJOR UPDATE

Update V1.1.0.136

Hey folks! It’s been a long time coming, but here’s our latest mega update for Warmonium. We have been feverishly working away to make Warmonium full release ready, and going forward expect to see regular updates as we ramp up towards the end of the year.

This update is jam packed with bug fixes, gameplay and AI improvements, plus several QoL changes:

Gameplay changes

• New pathfinding system: increased speed and accuracy.
• New ability system: glitches and bugs from abilities have been removed. This new system will allow you to make your own character abilities in the coming updates!
• New game mode added: Capture the Flag.
• Tutorial has been added to the game.

Deck builder changes

• There are now 20 available characters to choose from in the deck builder. All new and existing characters have been reworked with the new ability system.
• New characters to look out for:
• Hellbringers of Kenvarda
• Soulwreath
• Woodland Watch

AI changes

• New AI controller (currently only EASY-mode AI is available).
• Removed lag from AI.
• The AI can now control 16 new characters!

UI changes

• New main menu UI.
• New in-game UI.

Big thanks to our playtesters for their work so far in helping improve the game!

Known Bugs

• Reminder that this is in still early access, there will be bugs. Please report any bugs you find with the bug reporter. However, these are the known bugs you won't need to report:
• AI freezes occasionally.
• Knockback can cause a game crash when used on specific custom maps.
• Not all models have animations/sound yet, so some actions will happen with no animation/sound.
• Currently large custom maps will lag when saving/loading/creating (new map editor update coming in the next few months).
• Map editor CTRL+Z can crash the game sometimes.
• Spectate is currently causing a game crash.
