This update of XO Evolved adds a variety of cards and effects to allow players to achieve tactical advantages. Here is a list of a small subset of the additions
- Evasive: Evasive is a new status effect that can currently be applied through 2 card effects. If the unit inflicted with Evasive would be hit by a laser and there is exactly one unit adjacent to the unit, the positions of the two units are swapped.
- Laser Previews: As displayed above, "Laser Previews" is a feature that allows players to see the path their laser will take. This accounts for mirrors and units placed on the board that redirect or alter the laser's path.
- Laser VFX Shop: This is a new shop that displays different visual effects for lasers cast.
- Killstreak: Killstreak is a Unique card with the following effect: "If you cast a laser that destroys at least 2 units, gain an extra turn and refund the laser cost. If this effect activates, increase the unit count by 1."
- Possess: Possess is a common card with the following effect: Inflict Possessed to target unit or move Possessed unit to target empty tile.
