Hi everyone! Welcome to our first official Swordcery Patch! It's v0.5.67
Thank you so much to everyone that has been playing and enjoying the game so far. We've been very avidly watching videos some of you have uploaded of your runs and analyzing feedback you've so generously given via our feedback form and on Discord.
We've mostly noticed that the passive relics which affect [Base] Damage were much too strong, allowing for overpowered builds that were simply due to how generously those relics scaled your base damage which is an extremely effective multiplier within our damage calculation formula. There's also some relics included that were simply granting too much to other smaller tags like [Melee] and various elements. Full notes available below.
We believe that these changes should make the game feel more fun and adequately challenging. This should prevent the 3rd boss from being so easily defeated.
We'll continue to balance more as we receive more data! Hopefully level 3 provides more of a challenge after these changes!
Cheers,
Don and Mike
