Hello, hunters! The first part of the big "Terrifying" update is already waiting for you in the game!
So, what’s changed?
Light and darkness
Darkness thickens and almost covers you...
The lightning system has been reworked; now it’s pitch black inside the buildings.
And the light became softer and now has reflections.
We are still working on it, so there may be bugs, and it may still be inaccurate at times.
Get to know and study all of them!
What danger does this creature present…
Now you all are newbies again, and you will have to collect information about all otherworldly entities all over again. Find evidence, then study it at the research table. You will receive information about the type of ghost or demon as well as about one of its features.
You or your teammates have to see the evidence with your own eyes to have the ability to write it down at the research table.
Looks like this is...
We updated the features of ghosts and demons so you can better understand who you are facing and what kind of danger it poses through indirect evidence. But to get to know the features, you first have to study the particular entity at the research table.
In each of the following parts of this update, we will add additional features to already existing ghosts and demons.
You will have to increase your knowledge about any particular ghost or demon.
Even more dangerous
The new difficulty is here! For those who like it rough...
At the "Insane" difficulty, you and your friends will be left without the light…the power panel is broken.
The darkness at that place is especially dangerous, and your sanity is at risk.
The only thing that can help you are the lamps provided to us by the government. Here we call them “safety islands…”
- Place lamps throughout the house so that you can move from one to another without compromising your sanity. But be careful; there are only a limited number of lamps.
- Lamps can run out of power... The power indicator is located at the bottom of the lamp and consists of three levels. Recharge lamps by holding down the action key.
- Accept the challenge of an otherworldly entity and prove that you and your friends can deal with it even without the light!
It is time for upgrades!
Now there's a “modules” section in the shop, which allows you to purchase upgrades for some equipment types as well as buy insurance!
Modules have a few levels, every one of which upgrades your equipment even further or increases the percentage of insurance.
Modules are lost at death
But wait, there’s more...
- The motion sensor’s light intensity is decreased
- Netcode was optimized (if you are still experiencing problems, contact us through Discord)
- Fixed some issues on certain maps
- A loading screen with tips was added
- Ghost events were partially updated
- Added a new tool, a “flashlight” (this is a different kind of flashlight, better than the standard one, but worse than the upgraded standard one)
- Night vision mode was updated
- The van was replaced with a car in homage to the hunter-brothers
The first reworked ghost model was added to the game
